Our Leadership Team
Tim Brister – Executive Director
Since 2010, Tim has been working to develop the mission and vision of The Haiti Collective. He is a graduate of The University of Mobile and continued with graduate studies at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. While serving as a pastor of Grace Baptist Church in Cape Coral, he was introduced to the work in Haiti followed the great earthquake in 2010. Since that time, the work in Haiti has grown from a mission endeavor of his local church to a blossoming organization where he gladly serves as executive director. Tim is happily married to his wife Dusti, and they are the proud parents of three children: Nolan, Aiden, and Adelyn. Tim and his family reside in Spring Hill, TN – the home base for THC operations.
Chuck Towne – Director of Orphan Care & Sponsorships
In September 2014, Chuck joined The Haiti Collective to develop, implement and lead THC’s child sponsorship program. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Southeastern Oklahoma State University. Chuck has been involved in THC’s work in Haiti through THC’s church partnership program since July 2013. Through this work the people and especially the children of Haiti have captured his heart. After more than 33 years in the corporate world where he was a senior executive for a global Information Technology services company, he has joined THC to work full-time to help bring hope and help to the orphans and vulnerable children in Haiti. Chuck is an elder and teacher in his local church. He and his wife Regina live in Prosper, Texas, and are parents of two adult children, Tiffany and Aaron.
Odanis Joseph – Haitian Director (SCH)
Pastor Joseph is the founder and CEO of Society of Christian Haitians (SCH), an indigenous network of Haitian churches committed to making disciples, training leaders, planting churches, and caring for orphans. He began his ministry as a teenager preaching the gospel to orphans on the mountainside of Saint-Marc, where he planted his first church. Since that time, 14 additional churches have been added. SCH is located in 15 cities with 70 leaders caring for over 1,700 orphans through local churches. Not only is Pastor Joseph a licensed and ordained pastor, he is also a trained lawyer and judge in Haiti. While his family and ministry is headquartered in Desarmes (where his father began the ministry), Pastor Joseph spends his time equipping the church leaders and helping facilitate the orphan care efforts in each of these churches, including the orphan schools they lead.
